"So... what kind of therapist are you?"

You've been asked this question a hundred times. At a dinner party. At a consultation call. By a colleague making a referral. And every time, something slightly deflating happens. You give an answer that's technically accurate but doesn't quite land. You watch the person nod politely and move on.

It's not because you don't know who you are. It's because no one ever helped you translate what you know in the room into language that works outside of it.

Most therapists in private practice weren't trained in marketing. They were trained in people. So when it comes time to "define your niche," the advice feels either obvious or impossible.

Pick an age group. Pick a diagnosis. Pick a modality. But that's not how most of us work. You see adults and adolescents. You work with anxiety and relationship issues and grief and career transitions. You're a generalist and that feels like a liability when everyone tells you to specialize.

It isn't. You've been building a niche the whole time. You just need the right questions to see it and the right words to say it in a way people don't forget.

The shift

"The most powerful thing that differentiates you isn't what you treat. It's how you show up in the room."

When you look at the clients you love working with most, patterns emerge. A type of person. A kind of stuck. A way of working that lights you up. That pattern is your niche. And when you can articulate it, something shifts, not just in your marketing, but in how you carry yourself when someone asks that question.

The goal isn't a tagline. It's the kind of answer that makes someone stop, look up, and say "okay, tell me more." The kind of clarity that deepens your confidence in the consultation room just as much as it improves your website copy.

How it works

A structured process, not a blank page.

1

You move through 19 in-depth questions written specifically for therapists

Every question was written intentionally by Blake, a therapist who went through this process himself. They're not generic brand prompts. They're designed to surface what you already know about yourself as a clinician but haven't had language for yet. One question at a time, at your own pace, with a simple and focused experience that feels more like a conversation than a form.

2

Patterns get pulled from what you already know

The clients you love. The sessions that energize you. The moments you feel most like yourself as a clinician. The questions find the through-line you've been too close to see.

3

You get a comprehensive Brand Blueprint built from your answers

A fully personalized document, your niche, your voice, your messaging direction, built to use. Upload it to your AI of choice and start creating content that actually sounds like you. Or just read it, and notice how much easier it becomes to answer the question you've been fumbling for years.

What you walk away with

Your Therapist Brand Blueprint.

Niche Statement

A clear, honest articulation of who you work with — in language that will resonate with the right people.

Brand Voice Guide

How you sound. Your tone, your texture, what you say and what you never would. Words that feel like you.

Core Messaging Pillars

The 3–5 themes that run through everything you do — giving your content a spine instead of a random feed.

AI Prompt Pack

Ready-to-use prompts built from your blueprint, so any AI tool you use starts from your voice — not a generic one.

This isn't a worksheet you fill out and forget. It's a living reference document built to be used in content creation, in website copy, in every piece of marketing you make from here on out.

Who this is for

This was built for a specific kind of therapist.

  • You're in private practice and you know marketing matters, but it's never felt like something you can do authentically.
  • You're in a group practice or agency and private practice is the goal. You want to build your brand foundation now so the transition is smoother and clearer when the time comes.
  • You're an intern who has started seeing clients and you're already thinking about private practice one day. You want to start building clarity around who you are clinically before you're forced to figure it out under pressure.
  • You've been told to "pick a niche" and every time you try, you freeze, because you genuinely see and care about a range of clients.
  • You want to show up online but your current content feels generic, inconsistent, or just not quite like you.
  • You're curious about how to integrate AI ethically without it just writing things for you, and you want to learn how it can actually be a tool that sounds like you, not a replacement for your voice.

Not the right fit if

You're looking for a marketing course, a social media strategy, or someone to manage your brand for you. This tool does one thing: gets you radically clear on who you are and what you stand for, so everything else you do has a foundation to build from.

A note from the creator

I built this because I needed it myself.

I'm a therapist in private practice. I've maintained a full caseload with an ongoing waitlist for almost as long as I've been in practice. When I tell people I'm not taking new clients, they don't ask "do you know anyone else who works with men?" They ask "do you know any other male therapists who are basically like you?"

That's not a brag. It's proof that clarity works. When people can feel who you are and how you work, they don't want a replacement. They want a version of you.

But here's what took me a long time to figure out: I didn't build that by picking a niche. I built it by getting very specific about how I think, what I believe, and who I do my best work with. The marketing followed the clarity. Not the other way around.

The hardest question I still get asked, by colleagues, by clients, by people at dinner parties, is "so what kind of therapist are you?" I built this tool to help you answer that question in a way that the person asking won't forget. Not because you memorized a pitch, but because you finally have words for something you've known all along.

A few questions you might have.

When do I get access?

This is a pre-sale. You're getting in early at the lowest price the tool will ever be. Founding members get access first before the public launch. You'll hear from me directly with updates.

I already use AI for content. Why do I need this first?

Because right now you're prompting a blank slate. The Blueprint gives your AI a foundation to work from, your voice, your values, your actual niche, so what it produces sounds like you, not like a generic therapy website.

What if I really am a generalist? Will this work for me?

Especially for you. The tool is designed specifically for therapists who feel like a generalist and are frustrated that niche advice never seems to fit. You're not the problem. The advice is. This takes a different approach.

Do I need to be tech-savvy to use this?

Not even a little. If you can answer questions in a text box, you can use this tool. The whole point is that it does the heavy lifting for you. You just need to show up honest.
